Hayman Island reopens to unveil a new era of luxury on our magnificent Great Barrier reef.  Treat yourself to some much needed sun and sea.
From the moment you step off your luxury catamaran or helicopter, you will discover 294 hectares with magnificent views, white sandy beaches, private pools, sailing & sports, Sodashi-infused spa treatments and sublime culinary artistry.
Experience Australia’s most iconic island resort reimagined with something for everyone and plenty of room to move.

Hayman Island enjoys an ideal climate year-round: May–October (Winter/Spring) average temperature of 25°C, November–April (Summer/Autumn) average temperature of 31°C.

The resort boasts 168 elegant guest rooms, suites, villas and residences spread across three spacious accommodation wings: Lagoon, Pool and Beach.

The new Retreat rooms each have a private terrace, garden and outdoor shower.

All signature rooms and suites have been reimagined with state-of-the-art suite control with contemporary design.  There’s 1, 2 & 3 bedroom suites & villas, some with private pools as well as the new Three Bedroom Hayman Beach House and a Four Bedroom Hayman Residence also featuring private pool and ensuites.

Eco‐friendly

Guests are given refillable bottles, which can be topped up with filtered water at stations throughout the resort; they’re also supplied with We Are Feel Good Inc sunscreen that won’t harm the reef and ocean. The rooms have energy-conserving technology, and the hotel recycles everything it can (there’s even a glass-to-sand crusher on-site).

Relax & read a book or experience it all, Hayman has something for everyone.  It’s a Virtuoso Resort so you’ll receive the VIP treatment.

Rise early for a yoga or pilates class or to kayak on the tranquil bay. Snorkelling and diving are the most popular of the many activities on offer, with learn-to-dive classes and boat trips to spectacular dive and snorkelling sites. Seaplane and heli-tours to Heart Reef or Whitehaven Beach are also possible as well as fishing charters. Guided bird-watching walks are available, or just take to the bushwalking tracks.

A large recreation centre with games room offers tennis, table tennis, a golf simulator, squash courts and a resident tennis pro.

There’s Planet Trekker Kids Club, a state of the art gym and even the Hayman Spa & Hair Salon.  The Sodashi-infused spa treatments are not to be missed!

Five restaurants and bars as well as private dining experiences mean you’ll never get bored.

Despite the luxe surroundings, wifi service is patchy and sometimes slow. That said, staff are friendly, outgoing and helpful.
